The project

A standardized system for managing urban alerts and notifications

Operational protocols and an official communication channel with geolocation.

Supported by Castellón Global Program and INCIBE

What it is

Urban Alert

Digital infrastructure for critical communication in cities.

Cities need to communicate with speed, clarity and trust — both in an emergency and in their day-to-day.

UrbanAlert was born from real experience in public safety, emergencies and municipal management, combined with specialized technology to build operational tools aligned with the reality of cities.

Good institutional communication:

  • Strengthens citizen trust
  • Improves prevention
  • Reduces uncertainty in critical situations
  • Builds safer, better-prepared cities

Our principles

How we work

  • 01

    Service to citizens

Technology built to protect and inform people.

  • 02

    Professionalism

Designed with operational knowledge and technical rigor.

  • 03

    Transparency & great service

A clear, trusted relationship with institutions.

  • 04

    Fair pricing

Useful, sustainable technology for public administrations.

  • 05

    Responsible technology

    Reliable, accessible and privacy-respecting systems.

The problem

Information doesn't reach people, or it arrives too late.

Multiple scattered channels —press, social media, messaging— with no single official source. The result: noise, rumors and warnings that arrive late.

The demand

Citizens already expect direct, immediate communication

  1. 1Mobile is the primary information channel.
  2. 2Trust in institutions depends on speed.
  3. 3Cities need permanent digital infrastructure.
  4. 4Real-time communication is expected to be fast.

94.3%

of Spaniards are in favor of using mobile alerts as a precaution against a disaster.

The solution

The right information, to the right people

Make sure important information reaches the right people, at the right time and in the right place.

Authorities send geolocated alerts from a control panel. Citizens receive the messages with no need to register.

01

Create message or alert

Type, title and content of the notice.

02

Draw the exact zone

Define the affected perimeter on the map.

03

Send the notification

Geolocated, instant delivery.

Hyper-local segmentation Direct communication, no social media Full control from the municipal panel

What Urban Alert is NOT

  • It does not replace emergency services (112)
  • It does not replace ES-Alert
  • It does not manage emergency situations
  • It does not make operational decisions

Use cases

One infrastructure, every scenario

Events

Festivals, local celebrations, public events.

Traffic & mobility

Traffic accidents, road closures, works, races.

Public safety

Disturbances, demonstrations, scammers.

Emergencies

Floods, fires, gas leaks, and more.

A better-informed city is a safer, better-prepared city

Value for your city council

01

Management

A single official channel for safety, emergencies and urban mobility.

02

Coordination

Better coordination across municipal areas: Police, Social Services, Mobility and Civil Protection.

03

Information

Clear, localized and official messages that cut rumors and misinformation.

04

Trust

Fewer complaints, less uncertainty and greater citizen trust in the council.
